QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR HOME:

1. What kind of soap is in your bathtub right now?
Shaklee Meadow Blend liquid soap in a dispenser and Dove shower with exfoliating beads.

2. Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator?
no

3. Is there anything moldy in your refrigerator?
Close, but no.

4. Are there any dirty dishes in your sink?
breakfast dishes

5. What would you change about your living room?
Um, everything. That will be taken care of when we finish remodeling in, like, a million years.

6. Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty?
Nope, cuz I don't have a dishwasher...until we renovate the kitchen.

7. Do you have a can of mushrooms in your pantry?
Not anymore. I just used the last one for my omelet this morning.

8. White or wheat bread?
Sprouted grain bread. Yes, it's different than whole wheat

9. What is on top of your refrigerator?
Chips & snacks in a basket, dog treats, dog stuff, a flashlight

10. What color is your sofa?
Blue, red, green, gold and black. It looks better than it sounds

11. What color or design is on your shower curtain
We have glass doors on our shower. I would rather have a curtain.

12. How many plants are in your home.
zero

13. How many candles are in your home?
Um, lots. I love candles, but I don't usually light them. I just like the idea of lighting them.

14. Is your bed made right now?
Yes! And it's Saturday so go me!

15. If you have a coffee pot, what color is it?
I have a glass French press for coffee and a white carafe for keeping the coffee in.

standard

27. Comet or Soft Scrub?
Neither. I use baking soda to scrub stains.

28. Is your closet organized?
The master bedroom one is. The rest, not so much.

29. What color is the flashlight that you use the most?
The hubby's red one. He keeps it under the bed.

30. What kinds of things are in your junk drawer?
Sharpies, batteries, clippies for chip bags, string, twine, matches...stuff like that.

31. Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home?
Glass.

32. Do you have iced tea made in a pitcher right now?
yes

33. If you have a garage, is it cluttered?
Not really. Well, okay, a little. I blame it on the renovations.

34. Curtains or blinds?
Curtains. This too shall change with the renovations.

35. How many pillows do you sleep with?
two. But I want a body pillow. Maybe for Christmas.

36. Do you sleep with any lights on at night?
As dark as we can get it. We have a little night light in the kitchen, but that's about it.

37. How many ceiling fans are in your home?
One. But we will have five by the time the renovations are finished.

38. How often do you vacuum?
about once a week.

39. Standard toothbrush or electric?
electric

40. What color is your toothbrush?
boring white

41. Do you have a welcome mat on your front porch?
nope

42. What is in your oven right now?
nothing except baked on grease. I really need to clean it.

43. Is your microwave clean or dirty?
mostly clean

44. Is there anything under your bed?
nope, though I am thinking about getting storage containers for under there. To put seasonal clothes in.

45. Chore you hate doing the most?
all of them.

46. What retro items are in your home?
nothing, really.

47. Do you have a separate room that you use as an office?
Yes, though it's under construction so the office is taking up about a quarter of the living room. Thank goodness the living room is huge.

48. If you have a yard, who mows it?
The boy mows it. I don't mow.

49.Is there anything on your kitchen floor right now?
a couple of shelving units, the trash can and dirt since I haven't vacuumed or mopped this week yet.

50. How many mirrors are in your home?
two in the downstairs bathroom, none in the upstairs bathroom (that pesky construction), one in each bedroom. So that makes 4 at the moment.

51. Do you have any hidden emergency money around your home?
Yes. But I'm not telling you where. So stop asking.

52. What color are your walls?
wood paneling, ugly cream wall paper, wall board, white and a lovely color called Haze. But not all in the same room, silly.

53. Which rooms in your house have wallpaper?
The kitchen/dining room. That will change. We are going for a wallpaper-free home. It's more humane that way.

54. Do you have a peephole in your front door?
No, but we have a window.

55. Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home?
Does the boy's super huge mag-lite count? Probably.

56. What does your home smell like right now?
Dust. And dog. Denali is shedding and we're renovating. Anything else just makes the house smell like pretty dust.

57. Fave candle scent?
I like warm, spicy scents.

58. What kind of pickles (if any) are in your refrigerator right now?
Baby Dills and a jar of bread & butter.

59. Who are in the pictures you displayed?
Mostly family and friends.

60. What color is your favorite bible?
Navy blue. But I have a lot of bibles.

61. Do you have plenty of cabinet space in your kitchen?
definitely not, but the renovations should take care of that. I hope.

62. Ever been on your roof?
Yes. It's scary up there.

63. How many tvs do you have?

64. How many house phones?
none. We just use cell phones

65. Do you have a housekeeper?
Sadly, I'm the house keeper. Or so the hubby likes to think.

66. What style do you decorate in?
As we renovate and redecorate, we're going for a Arts & Crafts meets Tuscany look. I don't like a lot of knick knacks or clutter.

67. Do you like solid colors in furniture or prints?
It depends.

68. Is there a smoke detector in your home?
Several.

68. In case of fire, what are the items you would grab if you had a few minutes?
there is a tote by the bed that has some pictures, a back up DVD of all the data, music, & photos on the computer, a copy of our wills and other important info on it. I would grab that. Everything else is replaceable. Even the signed books.

69. Do you know how to work your electrical box?
Yes. It's a skill one needs to learn when one is living in perpetual construction.

70. What temperature in your home is most comfortable to you?
in the summer, around 78. In the winter, around 72. I like to bundle up in the winter.
